Required Competencies:

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in software development.
• Demonstrated expertise in building Full Stack applications using PHP (versions 7 or 8).
• Solid experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development.
• Proven proficiency in working with MySQL databases, including data structure modeling for efficiency and optimization, as well as creating procedures, events, triggers, and functions.
• Familiarity with PHP frameworks such as Laravel or Symfony (version 5 or 6), with a strong preference for Symfony.
• Comprehensive understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), Design Patterns, Clean Code principles, and PSR standards.
• Capability to analyze and improve outdated or deprecated code while adhering to best practices, W3C standards, and accessibility guidelines.
• Hands-on experience with implementing and integrating REST/SOAP web services.
• Strong knowledge of GIT (Version Control Systems), the MVC architectural pattern, and Agile methodologies.
• Demonstrates autonomy, a sense of responsibility, proactiveness, and team collaboration skills.
• Willingness to work in a hybrid model, with three days per week onsite at the client’s office in Lisbon.

Preferred Competencies:

• Familiarity with Microservices architecture, Docker, Linux (Debian/Ubuntu), Composer (PHP), PHPUnit, Yarn, HTML5, and CSS3 (SASS).
• Experience in JavaScript development, with knowledge of the jQuery library and/or Vue.JS framework being a plus.

Location Requirements:

• Hybrid - Candidates must reside in Portugal (3 times per week in the Lisbon Office).
